Broccoli Pork Stir-Fry
Recipe makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
1 lb (450 g) ground pork
4 cups (280 g) broccoli florets
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp (15 ml) ginger, freshly grated
2 Tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce or tamari
1 tsp chili flakes
2 Tbsp (30 ml) chicken broth
1 Tbsp (15 ml) sesame oil
1 tsp avocado oil
Instructions:
Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the pork and sauté for about 5 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and onion. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 5 minutes until tender.
Return the pork to the skillet. Add the soy sauce, broth, and chili flakes. Stir-fry for another 2–3 minutes, until the pork is cooked through and the broccoli is tender-crisp and serve warm.
